TORQ are pleased to announce that for 2016 we will be fuelling one of British Triathlons' fastest rising stars, IronMan Triathlete, Joe Skipper, with our range of TORQ Performance Nutrition Products...
At just 27 years old, and having only started Triathlon in 2010, Joe is one of the UK’s most successful Triathletes, being the 6th fastest British IronMan of all time. His current IronMan personal best stands at a staggering 8 hours and 16minutes, with one of Joe's major goals for the 2016, to go under 8hours. Joe will be using the TORQ Fuelling System and TORQ Recovery System to maximise his performance during racing and training, after his nutritionist recommended TORQ above any other product on the market. We hope you are as excited as we are about watching what Joe can achieve in 2016 and look forward to following his progress this season. It's very important to us that we work with genuine ambassadors for the TORQ brand, like Joe, and wish him the best of luck for the approaching season.
Here’s what Joe had to say about his plans for 2016. "My aims for 2016 are IronMan New Zealand in March (I want to win this race and seal my qualification for Kona early), after this I'll be racing at 70.3 Aix en Provence in France. I'll then head to Font Romeu to train at altitude, where I will be putting in some big groundwork for Staffordshire IronMan 70.3 in June and Challenge Roth in July, where I want to be the first British athlete to go under 8 hours. I'll then take a bit of recovery time before building up to Kona, with a big training block and another 70.3. As well as racing the 70.3s, I will also be using local running races and time trials to hone my form and get me in the best possible condition for my A races."
