Jan is a fierce competitor, successful at every level and attributes this to her training and her nutrition. She feels that TORQ is key to helping her achieve this.
With the 2018 Commonwealth Games in her sights, Louise Haston gets back on the tandem...
Louise took the first medals for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014. Louise will now focus on the next Commonwealth Games which are to be held on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia in April 2018.
”When we heard the announcement that the Tandem will be included in the programme for the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast for 2018, Aileen and I were really excited and ready to get back into training. From now on, every two weeks, Aileen will make the journey up to Glasgow, so we can focus on qualifying for the Games. We have had a few sessions together now and it all seems to be going in the right direction. So, as well as riding the Team Pursuit at the Nationals with my amazing TORQ teamies, Aileen and I will have our first attempt at the qualifying times for the 1000m and the 200m!”
Thanks to all our sponsors, we couldn't do it without you.
