Hamish Shaw travelled out to Wales to take on the beautiful North Welsh coastline. 

This is true inspiration to all. 

Defending champion Hamish Shaw and Chris Standidge were out racing again and both managed to place top 5 overall. 

Four of the team were competing in the British Standard Distance Triathlon Championship in Liverpool. 

With four of the team racing at this hugely competitive event, we were after big performances and we certainly got that. 

TORQ’s Danielle Stewart reports on a couple of benchmark test races, both of which clearly demonstrate the depth of her talent; a 10k in 36mins 30sec which is incredibly fast whether male or female; and a 25m time trail in 62mins thanks to a new bike fit. 

Last minute changes resulted in the Worchester double sprint triathlon becoming a duathlon. 

TORQ were represented by two triathletes at the National Championships and again collected another overall podium. 

Another top honour for Hamish, racing in the GB trisuit against the fastest European age group triathletes. 

With all the goals from the first part of the season ticked off as successfully completed, Eleanor took a short rest before resuming competition in impressive style…

Well, this weekend, with what seemed like so many races to choose from, I opted to stay closer to home following a mid-season break after Deva tri.  

The last big push for Chris Standidge before a mid-season break resulted in a convincing win where he lead from the front at the Bala Middle Distance Triathlon, consisting of 2k swim, 78.5k bike and 20k run…
