Mel has put in some stunning rides this year in the lead up to the National 10m TT, but sometimes things just don’t come right on the day …

In the eight years that have past since doing any serious time trialling, the competition has become fierce in women’s racing with PB’s tumbling down all aided by the introduction of power meters, faster equipment, better aerodynamics and more intelligent training.  

Dave maintains his Vitruvian title for the 3rd year running…

This would be my third time competing in the Vitruvian Middle Distance Triathlon. 

Chris Standidge is one bad ass Age Grouper, he doesn’t appear to recognise the professional tier of racing, anybody in front is just another target, which he duly motors down. 

Birmingham Tri is quite a popular race in the Midlands, this year is was completely dominated by the British Champion. 

Having enjoyed a week away on holiday and a Summer of racing on the track, this was to be my first race wearing the TORQ kit and I was looking forward to my first 10k event.  

After almost two months of missed training, following a stroke diagnosed in June, Louise dives in at the deep end with the Scottish Track Championships…

So after all my bad news and not being able to do any proper training for the best part of seven weeks, I made the ridiculous decision to ride the Scottish Track Champs.

If the British are preoccupied with the weather – and apparently 70 per cent of us check the weather forecast at least once a day – then British track cyclists are totally weather obsessed.  

Paul Whittaker is a long distance runner from Southend, who enjoys competing in a variety of endurance events from 1500m to the Marathon and has currently clocked up some pretty impressive PB’s. 

Having attended and raced every single Bontrager 24/12 since the event kicked off 9 years ago, it was great to get along to the 10th Anniversary edition, for another good weekend of racing. 

The final round of the British Cycling National XC Series headed to Cannock Chase in the West Midlands, a venue on the doorstep for many of the team. 

I was originally supposed to run the full Marathon, however, it was decided I would run the local inaugural Hoad Hill 1/2 Marathon instead.
