TORQ are proud to headline sponsor the brand new Runfest taking place on 14-15 June 2014 in Bristol. 

With the UK Mountain Bike Race scene on winter hibernation, and a lot of work going on behind the scenes to prepare the TORQ Performance MTB Team for the 2014 season, there hasn’t been any racing news for some time.  

One of the World’s leading Open Water Swimmers, Michael Ventre, is a passionate campaigner who believes that no one should go hungry. 

To complement the already highly successful and well sponsored TORQ Performance MTB Racing Team, Triathlon Team and Trail Running Team, TORQ are now searching for, and accepting applications for, podium placing athletes to be selected for the TORQ Performance Swimming Team for the 2014 season. 

The Xterra World Championships is the biggest event in the World Off Road Triathlon Calendar and the event was recently won by TORQ Fuelled, Spanish Athlete, Rubén Ruzafa. 

TORQ Fuelled, Kenton Cool, is Britain’s most successful Everest mountaineer and the second most successful, Western Mountaineer of all time on Everest, having summited the three mountains of the Everest horseshoe – Everest (8,848m), Nuptse (7,861m) & Lhotse (8,516m) in one climb; completing the ultimate ‘Three Peaks’ challenge. 

Chris ‘Hoppo’ Hopkinson is a talented, ultra endurance cyclists with some incredible results to his name in the ultra cycling discipline.

TORQ recently attended the XTERRA England Championship which was held at the beautiful Vachery Estate in Surrey.

The TORQ triathletes have been targeting the World Age Group Championships all season; primarily as it was being held on home soil in Hyde Park. 

TORQ Fuelled, Scott UK riders, Nick Craig and Melanie Alexander, have been busy of late racing in both China and Malaysia, with Mel Taking part in the Guiyang Mountain Bike Invitation Race and Nick returning for a second year to the Tour of Langkawi.
