Nottingham triathlon hosted the British Sprint Championships recently at the National Water Sport Centre (Olympic venue). 

Triathlon plus magazine recently ran a group set of 10 of the top sports drinks to discover which ones were the best for Triathletes.  

Wow, the team had a brilliant outing at the Chester triathlon, which also doubled as a World Championship qualifying event for the prestigious Hyde Park event (on the 2012 Olympic course). 

Last weekend saw the 2013 National Marathon Champs taking place on a one lap course in Selkirk, Scotland. 

Nick is an incredible runner and a World Class age group duathlete with countless wins to his name, so to step away from his obvious talents and take on the swim element of multisport is quite an ambitious step, yet it is already paying dividends…

With the weather warming up and the triathlon season rapidly approaching (and securing the early season aims of becoming a British Masters champion on the track) it has been time to throw the spikes in the bin and develop my swimming to an almost competitive state.  

Aside from the National Series and National XC Championships, the big event for many non professional riders is the Regional Championships, which is their chance to stamp authority in their region and take away the title of regional champion. 

For 2013, we have continued to fuel the Scott UK Team; one of the UK’s premier Mountain Bike Teams (alongside our own TORQ Performance MTB Team, of course!). 

Riders from Team Blood Glucose (TeamBG) on the mHealth Grand Tour, a cycle ride of 1,300 miles from Brussels to Barcelona in September 2013 will be training using the TORQ Fuelling System. 

Not only has TORQ-fuelled Kenton just summited Everest for the 11th time (see picture on summit below) on the 60th anniversary of Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary’s legendary 1953 climb, he has also claimed the Everest Horseshoe ‘3 Peaks’ record by scaling all three mountains in the region in one climb.
