Chris Panayiotou doinates the Bexhill on Sea triathlon and gets a most usual prize…

After a short lay off following my middle distance experience I decided it was time to get racing again, so I entered the Bexhill on Sea Triathlon. 

As you may have spotted in our news section over the last couple of weeks, we’ve just re-vamped the TORQ bar, TORQ’s original performance product. 

TORQ-fuelled pro mountain bike Oli Beckingsale has been busy winning races of late. 

With tricky conditions due to high winds, Ian Roberts battled through the elements to collect another podium result for the team by placing 3rd overall and here’s his account of the event…

Southport triathlon last took place over 20 years ago and was re-established this year at a new venue with a fast and flat course. 

The ever consistent Dave Mawhinney has improved year-on-year since he started triathlon in 2003. 

The TORQ supported Honda TT Legends team was in action again last weekend, this time in the sweltering heat of the Qatar desert at the Losail race track. 

We’ve been running very successful fitness holidays since 2005 in a number of different formats, from week-long stays in Spain to corporate weekends in the UK. 

The Ritchey Bikefest, held on the newly built trails of city centre riding hub, Ashton Court in Bristol is an excellent event with a laid back atmosphere. 

Louise has a go at the dirty side of the sport and shows she is equally proficient off road compared to our team’s usual bias for road-based tri’s. 

Chris performed outstandingly with incredible self-discipline keeping to his onerous premeditated splits/heart rate zones. 

The new TORQ bars have started to land at TORQ HQ. 

The 3rd round of the British XC Series was held at Hopton Woods, a local venue to TORQ HQ and one of the many excellent trails we have here on our doorstep in Shropshire….
