Taça de Portugal
After a break from racing that allowed for some time to get back to training, Tom travelled out to race the UCI Class 1 Taça de Portugal, this time without Seb, who decided to stay at home to hone the form a little more before returning to racing.

National 10 Mile TT
Mel has put in some stunning rides this year in the lead up to the National 10m TT, but sometimes things just don’t come right on the day …
In the eight years that have past since doing any serious time trialling, the competition has become fierce in women’s racing with PB’s tumbling down all aided by the introduction of power meters, faster equipment, better aerodynamics and more intelligent training.

Scottish Track Champs
After almost two months of missed training, following a stroke diagnosed in June, Louise dives in at the deep end with the Scottish Track Championships…

Lou Haston’s MNTC
Louise Haston digs really deep and performs incredibly well at the Masters National Track Championships despite feeling (and subsequently confirmed she was) very ill indeed…
Training had been going really well leading up to the Masters, we had a trial run at one of the Scottish Cycling sessions the week before and I managed two personal bests, one in the flying 200TT and one in the 500TT, so the indications were excellent and I was really looking forward to the Masters National Track Champs in Newport.

There are many reasons why this Series is such fun and the Fourth round of the 2015 Series, in Reading, was a great reminder that there are some fantastic people within the cycling community and I feel lucky to enjoy some great friendships through my sport.

Reading Grand Prix
Jan rides at the Reading Grand Prix, which is the perfect warm up for the National Derny Champs…
The Reading GP has established itself as a high profile event in the domestic calendar, with a round of the National Sprinters League and the National Endurance League, alongside a well-timed warm up for the Elite National Derny Championships for women.
