After spending the last 5 years bringing the mountains to life through inspiring videos, in 2017 Mike Cotty and The Col Collective launched ‘The Col Collective Cycling Tours’. Based from their boutique style guest house in the heart of the Hautes Pyrénées – the home of Tour de France legends such as the Col du Tourmalet, Col d’Aubisque and Hautacam (to name just a few) for a select number of weeks in the summer, Mike and the team offer fully supported tours of the iconic surrounding mountains to guests of all ages and abilities.
New to 2018 is their Ultimate Dolomites and Stelvio week riding amongst the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomites and Italian Alps from luxury spa accommodation. Knowing the importance of keeping his guests properly fuelled for the efforts required to enjoy these weeks, as part of the package, Col Collective riders are fuelled up with a very generous supply of TORQ energy bars, gels, SNAQ bars and drinks to keep the legs climbing during the rides, and are whipped up a cool TORQ recovery shake or hot chocolate on arrival back at base. Riders are then further pampered with home cooked meals and each room is supplied with Normatec recovery boots, stretch mats and foam rollers giving every guest the best recovery opportunity possible. Topping off the package is a personalised kit bag with a very extensive list of swag worth over €800, and professional photos are taken throughout the week to really capture the memories.
