Ian Robertson used his fantastic run form to propel himself into 2nd position at the Dambuster Std. Dist. Duathlon, an event which was deeply stacked with competition due to it being a qualification race for the forthcoming ITU World Championships.
Ian – “Fortunately the conditions were not as horrendous as had been forecast, but it was a very cold and windy day at Rutland Water for the Dambuster Duathlon. We were all given a master class in time trialling as Matt Bottrill blazed through the field on the bike leg. A pleasing early season result with 7th overall/2nd in age group, which secured qualification for the World Duathlon Championships in Spain later in the season”
Congratulations to Ian from all here at TORQ HQ and we wish him the very best of luck for the World Championships in Spain.
