Dave put in an excellent performance at the National Middle Distance Championships coming in a close 4th, only just missing out on a podium place.

The Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon was host to the National Middle Distance Championship this year. Having not taken part in this race before, Dave was looking forward to racing the flatter course. Being the National Championship, he was expecting a very competitive race in all Age Groups. Dave had a strong and incident free race, finishing in 4th place. With the event taking place in May, it was a chance to race “long” for the first time this year and to test out his fitness with IM Austria just 5 weeks away in mind.
