At long last, there’s finally an opportunity for those of you with a ‘performance’ inclination to meet up with me for a fitness and training day. TORQ and Gorrick MBC have teamed-up to run a coaching and training workshop on Saturday 29th November 2003 – and places are limited, so book NOW to avoid disappointment. It’s only 20 quid!
If you race, then it’s your winter training you’ve got to get right. Correctly ‘periodized’ winter training will bring you the form when you need it – next summer. This is why I always ask prospective coaching customers to meet up with me between now and December so that we still have time to set the foundation training in place. The TORQ/Gorrick MBC coaching seminar has been arranged for the end of November with this in mind. That said, regardless of your performance aspirations, every cyclist who has an interest in keeping fit will get something positive out of this session.
The day is mainly theory based, but there will be a bit of riding and a rather challenging ‘interval training’ session for you to partake in. TORQ has run these seminar days before, so take a look at the following links to get a feel for what we have in store for you.
Every attendee will receive full printed seminar materials and a couple of TORQ bars to much on. Of course, there will also be an opportunity to purchase TORQ bars, TORQ energy and TORQ ribose for those that would like to take some supplies away with them. We’ll also be selling them with at a discount as there’ll be no postage on them.
Finally, there will be plenty of opportunity for questions throughout the day, so please come along loaded up with them. From past experience, most questions get answered as a matter of course, but you never know, you may come up with an original one.
