Melanie Sneddon settles a score by winning the World Masters Individual Pursuit Championship title.
Having been knocked down with illness and unable to compete in last year’s World Masters individual Pursuit, Melanie managed to arrive at the 2016 Championships with some good form. The qualifications in the morning didn’t quite go to plan, but Melanie fortunately managed to qualify for the Gold/Silver ride off. In the final, Melanie managed to take three seconds off her qualification time, to set a new PB and obtain the Championship title.

“I’ve wanted this Individual medal for ten years now and have consistently been working on it for the last three. To say I’m delighted with this title is a huge understatement, as it means so much to me.”
