A brilliant first report of the season comes from Nick Shasha, who took the lead on the first run at the Anglian Water Sprint Duathlon, held his position on the bike, then pushed into a convincing win on the final run.

In the first major British Triathlon event of the year, Nick raced the popular Anglian Water Duathlon and came back with a spectacular “Gun to Tape” win after battling through a muddy trail run and an exceptionally windy ride. 

Nick – “Though quite mild, the wind was really tough, even slowing me down considerably on the run and causing me some dicey moments on the bike, particularly on a bridge over the A1!” 

With the European Duathlon Championships coming up in April, Nick’s early season form shows great promise for future success.
