I have in my hand the latest Lake tri shoes; the CX311C, which have kindly been sent to us by our new sponsor. Torq are now sponsored by Lake, with road and triathlon shoes for the remainder of the season and onwards. If the tri shoes are anything to go by we can’t wait for our road shoes.

We are all excited about wearing our new cycling shoes. Lake have a fantastic reputation within the industry and we are pleased to be supported by the best. The Torq MTB team are already sponsored by Lake and have been for a number of years.

Lake have been manufacturing cycling shoes since 1982 and are worn by some of the best athletes in the world including the professional racing team Milram, and 2008 Tour de France winner, Carlos Sastre. I think we are in good company.

Torq’s triathlon team ethos is to only ride with product that we think is competitive and the best. We work very hard at achieving our results and don’t want to be put at a disadvantage by inferior kit. So while we don’t have hundreds of sponsors, you can count on anything being used by a Torq triathlete as being the best available.
