Luck in Levens

Riding her Wilier Twinblade Mel Sneddon is proving unstoppable as she takes another win, this time up in the Lake District…

Melanie travelled up to the Lake District to support her husband in the Great Lakes Fell Race and managed to coordinate a ride at the Kent Valley RC 10 mile TT, which was on the notoriously fast Levens course on the same evening.  Sadly, the weather was not on side for any rapid times but Mel took the win by a good margin. Melanie said: “I’m delighted and somewhat surprised to win after walking up and down hills all day supporting my husband. It is a fantastic course though and one I’d love to ride again, perhaps with a little less of a headwind next time!”
