This Thursday (2nd June 2016) TORQ Fuelled, Endurance Cycling Mad Man Josh Ibbett heads to Italy to take on the Tuscany Trail race as part of his training in preparation for his defence of his Trans Continental Title later this year.
The Tuscany Trail race is a 560km, completely self supported, off road race, through the famous Chianti Region of Italy with its sweet hills full of vineyards from Florence to San Gimignano. The course takes in over 11,000 meters of ascent, predominately off road, with riders simply given a GPS route to follow. Riders complete the course completely self support at their own pace.
Josh will be utilising the TORQ Fuelling and Recovery System to help him get through the event which he aims to complete without stopping, in the fastest possible time. We wish Josh the best of luck with the event and look forward to following his progress on the live timing, available here. Tuscany Trail
