TORQ-fuelled UK Pro MTBer Sally Bigham has just returned home from the Andalucia 6-day Bike Race having secured yet another 2012 win and the season has bearly started.
Sally teamed up with Swiss rider Milena Landtwing and we won 5 out of 6 stages, although on the stage they didn’t win, they honourably gave the stage win to another pair, finishing just 1 second down to them. Their overall winning margin was 45 minutes by the end of the 6 days, so quite a sizable victory I’d say. Sally said “It was a perfect training race for me – I didn’t have to ride full gas and now I am ready to carrying on with training for the Cape Epic which starts in 3 weeks”.
Sally will be updating the website direct next time, but I just need to get my act together and show her how to log in!
